Good location, just by center of the town.
This three star hotel is under standards. Old, not renovated rooms, unconfortable beds and insects in our room. Brrr.

We enjoyed living on the top floor overlooking the city. Friendly staff at an up-dated hotel with a flavour of the communist era. Perfect location, comfortable and clean. Spacious restaurant (where we had breakfast buffet) at the ground floor.

Great location, only 10 min walk from railway station, very kind staff, really good breakfast, late check out - 2 pm!, Very clean, great value for money, yes! This hotel was built in 60's, but it actually is its advantage rather than flaw. As per loudness, it's located in the city center, so it's what you should expect - simply ask for room situated at the back of the hotel :)

Hotel Katowice offers a great amount of services for a very convenient price. We had a lot of our requests satisfied at our first demand. The hotel offers: - a healthy breakfast, - perfect location (a bus goes to Krakow right from a bus stop which is 20 meters from an entrance), - a night club (but we hadn’t visited it, so I can't share my impressions), - every day they changed our towels and the linen on a bad, - room service (you can order anything from a restaurant, or ask for an iron, or rent a car, or have you clothes washed), - it is possible to live your luggage at the hotel even after you have checked out, - they allowed to print as many pages as I needed (we were preparing to the conference and there was nowhere to print). So, generally, we liked it very much.
Hotel Katowice has a very slow wireless internet (Wi-Fi), we had to spend a lot of time to get access to the web-sites needed; there was no refrigerator or mini-bar in our room; it will be more comfortable it there was a teapot in a room, so one could make himself / herself a cup of tea / coffee; there was a TV-set in a room, but there were only Polish channels available, so we didn’t watched TV at all (we can’t speak Polish)

Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt.

We went for a cheap hotel, so I didn't expect much. But the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast good and the location very central. It's maybe not a very cosy hotel, but definitely a very good bargain and very high quality for the money you pay.l
I found it a bit strange that we had to pay quite a lot of money to park the car at the hotel. Turned out it was much cheaper to park it at another parking lot nearby.

I appreciated smooth and quick check-in/check-out. The breakfast was good, large selection. I also liked location and size of the hotel allowing good view from high floor. Although room equipment is simple, everything is clean and works properly, I and would stay there again.
